Vegetable smoothie blender recipes are one of the most popular types of smoothies nowadays because more and more people are being conscious about their health and well being. If you don’t like the taste of vegetable, but you know that in one way or another, you need the nutrients that go with it.
Also, not so many people know that our daily vegetable allowance per day should at least include 9 types of vegetables in order to get the best nutrients that our body needs. That’s a fact that you may want to know though.
A Vegetable smoothie blender recipe can also help mommy find a good way to have their kids eat vegetable. If you are able to come up with a good recipe that won’t make your children think that what they have inside their cups are veggies, you’ll never have a hard time battling with your kids to take the needed vegetables every day.
You may check several Vegetable smoothie blender recipes online – there are so many to try! And this does not count your very own version of each recipe.
To get you started, here’s one of my favorite recipes that I have been making for the past months, and my children love it!
Here’s what you need.
- Three pieces of tomatoes
- One bell pepper (you can go for the yellow type which is more sweeter compared to the greens and reds)
- 2 medium sized carrots
- One medium size cucumber
- Hot sauce (this one is optional if you have young kids. Younger kids don’t like the taste of spicy foods and drinks. So try to eliminate it.)
- Worcestershire sauce
- Lemon juice
- Scallions (optional)
- Heavy duty blender

How to Make It:
Get all your vegetables washed. Seed, peel or de-stem them if needed. Cut them into smaller portions for easier grinding. Basically put all the vegetables inside the blender and slowly blend them all together until it forms a creamy texture. Slowly add the spices and other ingredients to give taste. The portion of the spices depends on the preference of your family. So I cannot really let you know how much is needed.
Look inside the blender and make sure that there are not lumps of veggies anymore. With a good a heavy duty blender, it should only take you at least three minutes to achieve full cream mixture.
Get a fine strainer and strain the mixture into the cups or pitcher to make sure that all you will be getting is a fine and creamy smoothie. Chill the mixture and enjoy it after 30 minutes or so of chilling.
